Unable to stand the tension any longer, Sarah fires Caroline from Leopard's Den, but she is promptly installed as deputy at Mara. However, disaster strikes as she and the Mara guests are threatened by lions. Meanwhile, Rosie is annoyed by the presence of the students vying for the position of vet assistant, particularly as one of them keeps flirting with Max. Fed up with the upheaval, Du Plessis hatches a plan to get everything back to normal, but it backfires dramatically and leaves a cheetah's life in danger
