In the first episode of a new series, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer meet the Rowland family in Stoke-on-Trent who are unsure whether to sell their home or renovate their current property instead. Hospital worker Julie is unhappy with their house and longs to live in a spacious character property, but Allen does not think they will find anything better than what they currently have within in their budget. After a decade long debate, can Phil and Kirstie help the pair make the right decision?
