Derek Brockway remembers his favourite three walks around north Wales, including climbing three peaks in the Cadair Idris mountain range and taking an icy dip in a glacial lake. Derek recalls a visit to the Italianate village of Portmeirion, where he also discovered 'Y Gwyllt' - 'the wild' headland beyond, and his walk along the Dee Valley Way, a stunning 13-mile route which took him from the pretty town of Corwen to its larger and more bustling neighbour, Llangollen
