Climbers and sailors follow in the footsteps of two great Irish explorers - Ernest Shackleton and Tom Crean, who travelled to and barely escaped from the Antarctic in 1914-1915. This adventure involves travelling to and visiting the Antarctic, trekking and climbing on uninhabited islands, the 800-mile small boat journey to South Georgia and finally a climb across South Georgia to Shackleton's final resting place
