
Strictly star Ellie Goldstein supported as It Takes Two host Fleur East addresses behind-the-scenes upset

The 23-year-old model and actress appeared on Strictly’s companion show It Takes Two on BBC Two tonight (September 30) with dance partner Vito Coppola.
Hosted by Fleur East, the Sax hitmaker asked Ellie about last Saturday (September 27) after she was captured looking teary after performing a cha cha cha.

Fleur said: “Now, Ellie, a few people online thought you looked upset on Saturday. But backstage, you told me you had a great night. Did you enjoy it?”
While answering with a smile on her face, Ellie responded: “Yes, I did! I wasn’t upset at all, I was absolutely fine. I had a great night with [Vito], I had the best night ever.”
Fleur congratulated Ellie, stating she knows “how scary the first dance is”, adding: “You’ve got it out the way! It’s complete.”

Following their interview, fans took to social media to support Ellie and Vito.
“She’s too cute #ItTakesTwo,” one user wrote on X.
“Vito is a superb pal and teacher,” another person shared.
“The Cheeky Team. Ellie people said you looked upset on the show? ‘I wasn’t upset at all I was absolutely fine I had a great night with Vito, having the best night ever’ Ellie, great to hear Who wouldn’t with @Vito__Coppola,” a third remarked.
Meanwhile, another echoed: “We all need a Vito in our lives.”

This Saturday (October 4), Fleur informed viewers that their next dance would be a waltz to Your Song by Ellie Goulding.
Vito revealed that he and Ellie will “channel the butterfly” in their performance this weekend. Meanwhile, Ellie said she wants to look very “smooth, elegant and floaty”.
At the end of their chat, former Strictly contestant and pal Alison Hammond shared a wholesome video message for Ellie, wishing her the best for the rest of the competition.
