Strictly: It Takes Two returns tonight and this year’s celebrity dancers are queuing up to appear on the sofa.

The Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show is back on the BBC for a brand new series and the first guests have now been revealed.

Strictly announced which stars will be appearing on It Takes Two while asking viewers to submit their questions for them online. Some of them will then be put to the contestants and their pros in the studio tonight.

Who’s on tonight’s Strictly: It Takes Two?

Strictly newbie Amber Davies will be on the show to talking about her whirlwind arrival with her dance pro, Nikita Kuzmin. Amber had just 48 hours to prepare for Saturday night’s live show after being brought in to replace Dani Dyer. Dani broke her ankle during training so had to withdraw.

ER and Doctor Who star Alex Kingston will also be on the show. Her dance partner Johannes Radebe will be joining her.

The final couple to appear on Strictly: It Takes Two tonight is Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer. Harry – aka Gladiators’ Nitro – became emotional on Saturday night after they had performed their Samba. The professional sprinter choked back tears as he recalled how he was left fearing for his career in 2024 following a nasty knee injury.

Who hosts It Takes Two?

Fleur East and Janette Manrara are returning as the presenters of Strictly: It Takes Two for 2025. The ladies hosted The BBC spin-off last year and have been welcomed back with open arms.

In the lead up to going live, Janette filmed herself on the way to the studio. She was sat in the back of a car with a hydrating face mask on.

Janette later filmed herself in her dressing room for Instagram. She told fans: “Face mask off. In my dressing room. Script in hand. First It Takes Two tonight, baby!”

She then revealed: “And, with Fleur! We only get to do two together this series – the first one and the last one. We’re back, baby!”

Janette definitely knows her stuff. She was previously a professional on Strictly Come Dancing. Fleur, meanwhile, competed in the 2022 series of Strictly. She made it to the final and became an It Takes Two host in 2023.
