A total of four matches are scheduled for April 28. Each match will be played over the best of 25 frames.

When is the World Snooker Championship final?
The first session of the 2026 World Snooker Championship final is scheduled for 1pm on Sunday, May 3.

The final will be played over the best of 35 frames and three sessions, culminating in the final session on Monday, May 4, at 7pm.

Who’s the favourite to win?
Zhao Xintong is the bookies’ favourite to win the 2026 World Snooker Championship. Oddschecker currently has him at 13/1.
The second favourite is Wu Yize, who has odds of 5/1, followed by John Higgins with odds of 15/2.
Xintong made history last year when he became China’s first World Championship winner.
If he wins again this year, he’d be the first player in history to secure a consecutive victory following his first Crucible win.
