The Connor-Swains were left to abruptly pack up Connie’s things and say one last goodbye to her before Sheila arrived to take her back. But, fans don’t believe that this is the last we’ll see of the smiley little one. The family said goodbye to Connie (Credit: ITV) Goodbye to baby Connie in Coronation Street Carla and Lisa have been looking after Rob Donovan and Mandy’s baby Connie while her grandmother Sheila underwent an operation. Carla was initially reluctant to take in the little one. But, she soon bonded with her brother’s daughter and enjoyed having her around. Last night though, Carla got a shock phone call from Sheila. She was now on the mend and would be arriving to pick up Connie later that day. Carla, Lisa and Betsy all then said a very quick goodbye to the smiley baby while packing her bags. Instead, they reckon that Connie will soon return as Carla and Lisa secure guardianship of her. One fan on X wrote: “Baby Connie has to go and you can tell Carla doesn’t wanna say goodbye to her. I believe she will end up back with Carla, Lisa, Betsy, and Ryan again soon. Her grandmother won’t be able to care for her much longer it seems like.” Another person added: “I don’t know something these scenes makes me think after the wedding they’ll decide to seek permanent guardianship of Connie?
