In Coronation street spoilers for Mon, Jun 1, Daniel’s first day back at work goes south as he confronts Megan.

1. Daniel’s first day back takes a sharp turn
Daniel heads into his return to work hoping to keep things together, but nerves are already getting the better of him. A small boost comes when Bertie proudly hands over a ‘World’s Best Teacher’ mug, lifting his spirits for a moment.
That fragile positivity doesn’t last long. In the corridor, Lily deliberately escalates tensions by loudly repeating posts from Truthteller2, ensuring everyone hears. She then knocks into Daniel on purpose, sending the mug smashing to the ground. The moment leaves Daniel visibly crushed, and to make matters worse, Jake captures the aftermath on his phone.
Unable to cope, Daniel heads straight to the Rovers looking for escape and tries to get a drink, but Adam steps in and stops Sean from serving him. Feeling shut out and humiliated, Daniel storms off again.
His frustration reaches breaking point when he spots Megan in the precinct. Believing she has played a major role in ruining his life, he confronts her in an angry outburst. The situation escalates fast, leaving it unclear just how far Daniel might go next.
2. Todd is pushed to the edge
Lisa updates Todd that Danielle has now been formally questioned, adding to the growing tension around the case.
During a painful prison visit, Summer makes a shocking admission to Todd, revealing she is thinking about pleading guilty to manslaughter because she can’t see another way forward. The confession leaves Todd devastated, and he later turns to Sarah for support as he struggles to process what he’s heard.
Still reeling, Todd asks Lisa if there is any chance of getting his phone returned, but her response leaves him stunned and uneasy.
3. Carl tightens the screws on Tyrone
In the pub, Carl grows increasingly direct with Tyrone, openly challenging his behaviour. He tells him it’s obvious something isn’t right and insists Tyrone is concealing the truth. Carl’s determination to get answers leaves Tyrone increasingly on edge.
4. Idris stirs things up at Speed Daal
At Speed Daal, Idris makes his presence felt as he openly flirts with Leanne and suggests they meet again socially. Alya quickly intervenes, warning Leanne that she may be heading into risky territory, but Leanne is left torn over whether to take the advice.
Adding another layer to his involvement, Idris also asks Alya to manage his legal affairs, hinting that his connection to them is only just beginning.
