1. Nick faces fresh worry over Sam

Nick is rocked when Sam suffers a troubling setback, leaving him desperately waiting for updates about his son. Already under enormous pressure, Nick struggles to keep his emotions in check as concern quickly turns into frustration.

Convinced that the ongoing fallout from Megan’s court case has contributed to Sam’s distress, Nick directs his anger firmly at Ben and Eva. He makes it clear where he believes the blame lies, but Eva is having none of it. Determined to move forward, she insists they no longer need Sam involved and remains confident that Will can handle the court case without any extra help.

As tensions simmer, Nick is left grappling with the painful reality that Sam’s wellbeing remains his biggest concern.

2. Ronnie’s mystery adventure finally begins

Over in another corner of Weatherfield, excitement is bubbling as Sally, Glenda and Christina prepare for what promises to be an unforgettable trip.

Armed with packed suitcases and plenty of enthusiasm, the trio eagerly await further instructions. Their anticipation reaches fever pitch when a message from Ronnie lands, confirming that everything is ready.

3. Debbie’s escape hits an unexpected snag

The following morning arrives with a few sore heads as Sally, Bernie, Glenda and Christina nurse the consequences of a lively night.

While everyone attempts to recover, Debbie becomes increasingly distracted by Ronnie’s silence. Her repeated attempts to reach him go nowhere, leaving her frustrated and confused.

At the same time, Christina receives a call on her phone but quickly dismisses it. Keen to keep spirits high, Glenda insists they stop worrying about the outside world and focus on enjoying themselves. With phones pushed aside, the group tries to embrace the holiday atmosphere, although not everyone can fully relax.

4. Maria spots something she wishes she hadn’t

Maria’s anxiety goes into overdrive after witnessing a suspicious exchange involving Gary and Sarah.

From a distance, she watches the pair share a warm embrace before overhearing Gary insist that their messages need to disappear. The interaction immediately sparks alarm bells and leaves Maria fearing there could be much more going on beneath the surface.

Unable to keep her worries bottled up, she later turns to Fiz and Izzy, admitting she is becoming convinced that Gary is hiding something from her.

As doubts continue to grow, Maria becomes increasingly determined to uncover the truth, whatever that truth may be.

5. Carl’s latest move changes everything

Meanwhile, relations between Kevin and Carl go from bad to worse.

Kevin is furious after learning another garage has requested a reference for Carl. Rather than helping him out, Kevin makes it abundantly clear that Carl can forget about receiving any support from him.

Elsewhere, Carl receives another tempting offer from Fiona involving some questionable work, raising concerns that he could once again be heading down a dangerous path.

The situation explodes when Kevin accidentally discovers video evidence appearing to show Carl tampering with his car brakes. Armed with proof, he storms over to confront him immediately.

Tyrone and Ronnie rush in after hearing the heated row, but Kevin is left stunned when he realises they already knew what Carl had done. Ronnie attempts to calm the situation and encourages everyone to move on for Debbie’s sake.

Kevin refuses.

Seething with rage, he grabs a wrench and marches towards Carl. But just when it seems things couldn’t get any worse, Carl reveals a package he recently collected from Fiona.

Inside is a gun.

The atmosphere instantly turns ice cold as the confrontation takes a terrifying twist, leaving everyone facing a situation that could end in catastrophe.

6. Brody takes a risk to protect his mates

Elsewhere, Sean puts his foot down when Brody, Dylan and Betsy attempt to get served in the Rovers. Aware that Brody is underage, Sean refuses to help them.

The youngsters head to the precinct instead, but their day soon takes a nasty turn when three intimidating lads approach and demand the cans they have bought.

Thinking fast, Brody tells Dylan and Betsy to make a run for it while he bolts in the opposite direction, drawing the troublemakers away from his friends.

With the trio giving chase, Brody suddenly finds himself in a risky situation, and it remains to be seen whether his brave decision will come back to haunt him.
