However, next week sees heartbreak hit the couple when a huge secret is revealed that threatens everything. Penny and Vinny have been a huge hit with fans (Credit: BBC) Vinny commits to Penny and their baby Today’s EastEnders saw Penny struggling with the idea that Vinny had put a deposit down on a shop for her. Despite always dreaming of having her own store, Penny wondered if it was too much, too soon. Gina didn’t help, telling Penny that Vinny’s eagerness to please was a big red flag in their relationship. However, Harry was surprisingly the voice of reason and told Penny that she might be reluctant to accept Vinny’s grand gesture because she was scared the shop would not be a success. Realising that she needed to embrace things that scared her, Penny told Vinny that she would like to go ahead with the shop purchase. But what Vinny hadn’t told her was that they would need Suki to sign on the dotted line to release some cash from the Panesar empire. Vinny pointed out that this was all his idea and had nothing to do with Penny. But Suki refused to apologise – or hand over the family money for the couple’s new business venture. At a loss over how to get the money for the shop purchase, Vinny told Penny that he would use his own contacts to secure the funds. Penny heads off to her first baby scan. But once there, she finds out that the pregnancy is further along than she thought. Panicking Penny realises this means the baby might be Harry’s after she slept with him before he went into rehab. However, Penny keeps the news to herself. Vinny is none the wiser as the couple show off their baby scan to their family. And Penny is left with an enormous decision to make. What will she do now that she knows Vinny isn’t the dad? What else happened in EastEnders tonight? As well as Vinny proving his love to Penny, today's EastEnders also saw Oscar visit Jasmine in prison, and Bea worm her way back into Honey's life. Everyone realised Jasmine was telling the truth After watching the video of the night Anthony was killed on her phone, the Slaters and Oscar realised Jasmine had been telling the truth all along. They knew that she couldn't plead guilty, and called Ritchie to get a special prison visit sorted out. While this was happening, the penny dropped for Josh and Oscar as they worked out each other's true identity, and they were horrified. Oscar and Jasmine reunited Oscar went to see Jasmine in prison to talk her round. Jasmine asked about Josh, and Oscar pretended that he barely knew him. At the end of the visit, Jasmine asked if she had lost Oscar after all her lies, but he told her that he still loved her. They reunited, and when he got home to Albert Square, Oscar ended things with Josh. Josh pretended to be fine with it, but it was clear the pair still had feelings for one another. Bea's sick plan worked Having manipulated Will into feeling sorry for her by lying that she was attacked at McKlunky's... Bea then used his kind nature to her advantage. She packed her bags and moved out of Honey and Billy's, and they were both relieved that she had gone. But Honey felt awful when Will told them about the attack and invited her back in.
