Can his friends put their differences aside to mourn him? Elsewhere, Bob’s determined to win Viv back, as Eddie leaves Emmerdale, and Jo’s got a business idea that could have legs. Matthew, Jimmy and Carl face court (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Kings in court Matthew’s convinced Jimmy’s guilty of their dad’s murder, and he won’t let it rest. But is he right? As the day of the hearing dawns, Scarlett and Carrie head off to court. They arrive just in time to hear the brothers plead “not guilty” to conspiracy to murder. But are the Kings telling the truth? And it’s not long before a shocking revelation from outside the court turns the case upside down! article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Hari wants silence Meanwhile Hari keeps vigil at Louise’s bedside, but it’s not because he’s worried about her – he wants to keep her quiet if she regains consciousness. When Scarlett visits she accuses Hari of causing the crash and when the police also show up at the hospital, he’s rattled. Alan’s proud as he unveils the special celebrity guest – Katherine Jenkins! But there’s soon friction on the floats as a pig goes on the rampage and another float bursts into flames! Meanwhile, during the beauty contest, the tension between Jo and Katie erupts into violence – again! There’s a shock in store for Sandy. As he takes Len a drink in the village hall he thinks his friend is asleep. But when he tries to wake him, Len doesn’t stir. Fearing the worst, Sandy checks Len’s pulse and realises he has died. He tells a devastated Pearl, and comforts Edna and Betty. Katherine Jenkins – closing the pageant – sings Len out of the village as he’s driven away in an ambulance. Pearl and Edna aren’t united in their grief (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Feuding friends at the funeral The next day, Pearl finds out that Len died from a heart attack. She wants to be left alone to deal with her feelings and worries about what caused Len’s death. Old friends Pearl and Edna aren’t united in their grief for Len. In fact, when Edna realises Pearl hasn’t invited her to the funeral, she’s fuming. But, Pearl’s been hitting the bottle and she’s not about to let Edna insult her… As the day of Len’s funeral dawns, Lady Tara and Mark arrive to pay their respects. They’re shocked when they see Edna and she tells them she won’t be at the funeral. But as the mourners gather, Edna does show up. Pearl makes an emotional speech, but she’s annoyed when she finds Edna alone at the graveside and the pair argue. Classic Emmerdale: Donna takes on Eric! Donna’s proud to have made her first official arrest. But she gets on the wrong side of Eric when she points out one of his brake lights is out. Later Eric’s even more disgruntled when he’s hit by a mudpie thrown by one of the Dingle kids on the building site! There’s bad news for Marlon and Donna, though, when the social worker tells them the kids are settling in well with their foster parents and she’s not sure about moving them. Later, Donna pulls Eric over for speeding. He tries to bribe her into letting her off, but his plan backfires when she takes him to the police station instead. Eric’s given a warning for the attempted bribe, and Donna annoys Eric further by processing his traffic offences. As Eric leaves the police station, a delighted McNally spots him and plans a news story! As the story hits the pages of the Hotten Courier, Marlon worries they’ve upset the wrong man. And it seems he’s right when Eric complains to the Dingles about the excessive noise made by a cement mixer on the building site. Wanting vengeance, Eric calls the police. The Dingles are horrified as Donna shows up in uniform and she’s humiliated by having no choice but to call a halt to the building work on her own house. The feud escalates further as the Dingles dump manure outside the factory. And Eric’s delighted when he discovers the building site is on unclaimed council land, and makes a deal with the council to sell it. Donna’s upset when Eric reveals his latest scheme. And despite the Dingles’ efforts, it seems Eric has outsmarted them all. Viv and Bob come face to face after he ran out on the Christening (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Bob wants Viv back! Eddie invites Viv out for her birthday and with Bob still missing, Jamie’s worried Eddie’s making a move. But when he gets a parking ticket, he’s pleased – now he knows where his dad is! On a mission to reunite his dad and Viv, Jamie lures Viv to the park. She’s shocked to come face to face with Bob. Bob pours his heart out to Viv and begs her for another chance. And when he realises that Eddie lied to keep them apart, he’s fuming with his brother. But Viv has made her mind up. She tells Bob it’s over and heads back to the village. Bob follows, and when he arrives in Emmerdale, he goes straight to the Woolpack and decks Eddie! Later, Viv’s still not sure what she wants and asks Bob to move in with Jamie for now. Bob agrees, but as Eddie leaves the village, Bob vows to win back his wife. Jo’s in trouble – again In the aftermath of the pageant, Jo’s struggling to be branded a troublemaker as Katie escapes blame. Desperate to cut Andy’s ties with his ex-wife once and for all, Jo announces she’s made an appointment for him to see a divorce lawyer. Still gloomy, Jo is happier when Andy brings the appointment forward, but another confrontation with Katie brings her down again. And when she sees Katie and Andy together in the pub, she’s annoyed. So, after another argument, Jo shocks the pub by announcing her engagement to Andy! Realising she’s taken things too far, Jo apologises to Andy. But it all gets worse as Katie decides she’s not going to agree to the divorce after all, just to annoy Jo! Money troubles in Classic Emmerdale Jo cheers up when Sharon invites her on a pamper day with her and Dan and their friends. But when Dan hits on Jo, she flees! And she doesn’t stop to pay her £400 bill. Later, Andy admits that he would love to marry Jo and she is thrilled, though her good mood is ruined when Sharon hands her the outstanding bill. Jo’s dreams of a fancy engagement ring are ruined when Andy pays their debts instead. But a chat with Grayson about her plans to sell goats’ milk, leaves him interested in her business proposal. Andy’s not keen on the plan, but when he tells Jack he’s surprised when his dad sides with Jo. And when Andy says he doesn’t want to work with Rosemary, Jack throws his hat in the ring. Jo’s confused by Jack’s interest in her plans, but flattered to hear he thinks it could make a fortune, she agrees to his investment. Good news for Daz in Classic Emmerdale Elsewhere, Scarlett’s got the hots for an oblivious Daz. Meanwhile, Daz is pleased to see Billy back in the village with a job at the garage. When Val offers him a place to stay too, it seems Billy’s luck is in. Wedding presents! Rodney is determined to win over his daughter and he almost melts her icy heart when he gives her an antique locket ahead of her wedding. Val, however, is suspicious.
