Tracy confessed to stealing Pollard’s money

After struggling with her guilt, Tracy finally confided in sister Vanessa about stealing money from Pollard’s shop.

As Tracy revealed that it added up to about 2 and a half grand, Vanessa couldn’t hide her shock. Tracy quickly pointed out that she wasn’t on a “vet’s salary” like her sister.

Tracy then told Vanessa: “I don’t get anything from Nate. I count every penny. Literally every single penny. That’s how I know your takeout coffee money is more than I feed Frankie on.”

She also brought up the fact that she is struggling even more now because they used to split the cost of living with Suzy.

Later, Vanessa gave Tracy enough money to cover what she had stolen. Tracy handed it to Pollard, claiming she found it wedged between the wall and safe.  She said Pollard must have forgot to put it in the safe.

This knowledge upset Pollard and his lip trembled as he asked Tracy, “what else am I not remembering?” Will this be the end of Tracy’s stealing?

John continued to be a mystery in Emmerdale last night

Aaron was suspicious to find John Sugden sleeping on the sofa. John claimed to just be restless.

Later, John saw Kerry in the cafe and bemoaned her for not taking care of herself following her health scare.

Next, he had a row with Liam in the Hide. John was not happy to discover that Liam was checking John’s previous work to make sure he hadn’t made a mistake. After Liam pointed out that John wasn’t a doctor, John stormed out.

Aaron arrived to meet John for lunch, but John was in no mood and stormed off again. He managed to calm down when talking to Victoria and told her that someone he treated in the army years ago had a bad reaction to the medication and this incident with Kerry is bringing it back.

Victoria pointed out that everyone makes mistakes and told John about how she nearly killed Jacob, who has a nut allergy, after he had a reaction to food she’d prepared.

John listened intently. He was then seen visiting a man in a coma in hospital. He said to them “you and me, what are we gonna do, hey? Or what am I gonna have to do?” What is John hiding?

Jacob catches Sarah and Kammy getting it on

Jacob bought Kammy doughnuts

Charity and Sarah visited the shop, where Sarah asked Jacob Gallagher if they had any of the doughnuts with the strawberry icing as she was having a movie afternoon and fancied them as her snack.

After Sarah left, Charity encouraged Jacob to be more proactive and told him to go find some of those doughnuts for Sarah.

Taking the advice, Jacob rocked up to Sarah’s with a big box of the doughnuts, but he was disheartened to see Kammy come down the stairs while dressing himself.

At a loss at what to say, Jacob opted for: “Come on, it’s the middle of the afternoon.” Kammy sarcastically replied, “no way man, is there a law against that as well?” Before grabbing a doughnut and informing Jacob that they were his favourites.

Jacob later drowned his sorrows in the pub. “I keep hearing my own voice blurting it out. ‘B-B-But it’s the middle of the afternoon!’ It’s the least cool thing anyone could have said,” he told Gabby, who couldn’t hide her giggles.

Elsewhere in Emmerdale last night

Rhona tried to make amends with Vanessa. The two women met for a drink, but things soon turned awkward when Rhona mentioned her mum and Vanessa walked out.

Meanwhile, despite fixing Steve’s eye with a button (really!) Gabby continued to get on Sam’s nerves.

Sam told Kim that Gabby and Vinny were looking at flats in Leeds. He hoped the fear of losing Thomas would encourage Kim to persuade Gabby to move back to Home Farm.
