It’s been an endless cycle of Ray and Celia getting away with their crimes by merely threatening to harm more people if the truth got out there. But like people have pointed out – they can’t kill everyone in the village. Tonight, we had hope (again) that there could be a turning point as Dylan woke up and spoke to the police. But yet again Ray and Celia walked away unscathed in Emmerdale – for now. Marlon was determined to get help (Credit: ITV) Marlon turned to the police in Emmerdale tonight Dylan woke up and was determined to tell the police everything. But April warned him that it wasn’t a good idea as Ray was not only right out, but had upped his threats by a lot. Unfortunately, everyone was counting on him actually telling the police what he knew. And so, when DS Carter arrived, Marlon hoped it would be the end of it all. However, Dylan listened to April’s plea and decided against telling the police anything. Instead, he claimed he couldn’t remember a thing! article continues below Read all the latest spoilers When DS Carter told Marlon there was nothing else they could do, Marlon finally opened up on what was going on. She confirmed that Ray and Celia are in their sights, but that they don’t have enough evidence to charge them at the minute. And if they brought them in, they would be out within 24 hours and things would definitely get worse then. Marlon begged her to help his family, telling her that they are being extorted by Ray. But DS Carter pleaded with him to be patient. So, with Marlon feeling like he is truly alone, Ray and Celia get the upper-hand in Emmerdale once again. But that could all change when Moira finds out Celia isn’t who she thought she was. Celia is about to get a slap (Credit: ITV) Moira is about to be very angry at Celia Over the last few months, Celia has been working to take Moira down as her cover to all the crimes she has been committing. From illegal business deals to literally burying a body on her land. And for a while, Moira was just going along with everything Celia proposed. She truly believed she was a friend and a solid business partner. But all of that is about to disappear as the truth comes out. In Emmerdale spoilers for this week, Moira gets curious about a business deal she made with Celia. And when she looks into it deeper, she realises Celia has been forging her signature on invoices for huge amounts of turkeys. Absolutely furious, Moira confronts Celia in the Woolpack. Celia tries to cover and manages to make herself look the victim after Moira gives her a well deserved slap. Later, Moira is worried about her future. But one thing is for sure – she is determined to bring down Celia’s shady operation. Finally! What else happened in Emmerdale tonight? Aside from the continuous Ray and Celia drama, Emmerdale tonight had quite a few other things going on. A lot of the villagers spent their time at the hospital tonight - from Marlon and Paddy to Lydia and Joe. But both groups for very different reasons. And when Joe had to break the heartbreaking news that Ice had to be put down, she was not very happy. So, here's our recap of what went down in Emmerdale tonight. Mary returned home in Emmerdale tonight After heading to a retreat in Cornwall, Mary returned home just in time for Christmas. But when she got back, she could tell more was happening than anyone was telling her. When she quizzed Rhona on Dylan's accident, Rhona was jumpy and cagey. But it was clear Mary didn't believe her. Joe upset Kim After Kim's accident, Vanessa told Joe and Dawn that her horse, Ice, had life-altering injuries and she would suggest getting him put down. And so, without checking with Kim, Joe agreed. But when Kim overheard Joe talking to Dawn about taking over the business one day, she started believing it was all part of a plan. When Joe tried to defend his decisions, Kim got annoyed and kicked him out of the hospital room. Lydia and Sam felt the guilt But one person who continued to feel guilty in Emmerdale tonight, was Lydia. After Kim's lovely Jason Donovan surprise, Lydia felt very bad for her part to play in the poaching. And when she and Sam discussed their guilt, she left Sam shocked when she revealed she wanted to come clean. Desperate to stop her, Sam reminded her that would mean both of them losing their jobs. But what will Lydia do next? Sarah got advice from Belle in Emmerdale tonight Still hoping for a surprise Christmas Eve wedding, Sarah turned to Belle for help. And when Belle realised it wasn't for a gender reveal party, she reminded Sarah that this might not go down well with the Dingle clan. However, Sarah wanted to go ahead and Belle agreed to help - on the condition that the family know she was sworn to secrecy. And Ruby made a big mishap Elsewhere in Emmerdale tonight, Caleb dragged Ruby home to show her all the wine boxes she ordered. But right when she was telling him she only ordered 10 - she saw just how many there were. With her and Manpreet drinking away, Ruby's interest was piqued when Manpreet suggested she sold it all herself as a business.
