Emmerdale's Kim, Joe

Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve ‘worked out’ who is responsible for Joe Tate’s fall – and they think it’s Kim Tate.

Kim was previously on Joe’s side until last night’s party (Thursday, May 8). But then she found out exactly what he’d done. Not a part of the story was missed out, kidney and all.

And then not long after all of this dramz, Joe was pushed out of a Home Farm window by a mysterious person. Spooky.

Joe Tate’s whodunnit in Emmerdale

Last night’s episode was centred around Lydia Dingle’s 50th birthday party at Home Farm. And for such a special occasion, you’d expect the birthday girl to make an appearance. But, instead she was a no-show.

And, she missed out on quite a lot, bless her. Joe’s comeuppance was kicked into motion as the police turned up at the party to talk to him about the spiking of Noah Dingle.

When Joe managed to get the police to eventually leave, the guests started to piece together the puzzle. They then realised that he’d stolen Caleb’s kidney.

By the end of the night, with all of Joe’s skeletons firmly out of the closet, Joe was pushed out of his bedroom window by somebody. Who that is, we don’t know. But, fans have now predicted that it was Kim!

Emmerdale fans predict huge Kim twist in Joe Tate whodunnit mystery

Despite Kim not being on the official list of suspects, fans haven’t ruled her out as a potential culprit. We must admit, it is a bit suss that the Queen of Home Farm isn’t a suspect in a crime committed in her own house…

With Kim having trusted Joe, fans have now predicted that she was the one who pushed him, then heading back downstairs to dance with Sam as the perfect alibi.

Her phone call with ‘Lydia Dingle‘ could’ve also been a rouse for her to ring up a hitman to do the job for her.

One fan on X commented: “Maybe it was Kim who pushed Joe. Maybe she’s been pretending to be on his side to lull him into a false sense of security , she organised the party as a cover for her to go undetected by inviting all who hated him so she could.”

Another person agreed: “I was wondering if that whole Kim and Sam dance scene was engineered somehow, to provide a memorable alibi maybe? If she did it or knows who did. Maybe that was what the call was about, she had Lydia sneak in and be a silent assassin.”

Another person added: “Who did Kim speak to on the phone at the party? She didn’t want to answer at first. Could she have arranged a hit on Joe?”
