It’s been a troubling time for Laurel and Arthur over the last few weeks, as they finally discovered the truth about Ray’s dodgy deals. While they were both suspects during the special flashback week, Ray’s killer was confirmed to be Bear. But that doesn’t mean Laurel and Arthur weren’t guilty of their own secrets. Their relationship is currently struggling (Credit: ITV) Laurel and Arthur have both been keeping secrets Last week, it was revealed that Arthur followed Ray, after he saw Laurel let him go. Confronting Ray, Arthur tried to hit him with a rock, but ultimately, he couldn’t go through with it. However, he did steal Ray’s red rucksack. Initially, Arthur thought the bag only contained money, and he was doing it to stop Ray from leaving the country. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers But when Laurel found out, both she and Arthur discovered the drugs had so much more than just money – it also had drugs. Laurel wanted to protect Arthur and so she poured the drugs down the sink, getting rid of any and all evidence. But some fans think this was the wrong move, and it’s actually going to have caused more harm than good for her family. Could someone be looking for those drugs? (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans think danger is ahead ITVX viewers from tonight’s episode will know that Laurel finally confides in Nicola about what happened. She tells her best friend everything. Interestingly, though, the scene does focus for a moment on Nicola asking where she put the drugs, and Laurel explaining she got rid. The brief moment may not actually be foreshadowing anything, but the fact the drugs have been so prominent could be a sign of what is coming. Emmerdale fans have taken to social media and Reddit to discuss theories on what is coming up. And many think Ray was meant to give those drugs to someone in power. And that person will be looking for them. One fan proposed: “I always assumed Celia and Ray were cogs in a bigger crime network. The police lady, DS Carter, told Marlon they were on it and for him to be patient.
