Emmerdale fans are wondering where an important character is after finding out about Nate Robinson’s death.
Viewers found out that Nate had died after Amy spotted his body underneath a frozen lake. This happened during the limo crash back in February.
But, Nate’s yet to be found. And, his mum hasn’t even questioned his lack of contact.
Nate’s body is waiting to be found in Emmerdale
Nate Robinson was last seen alive in the Dales in September 2024. But, while fans had their worries over the character’s fate, his death wasn’t confirmed until February this year.
During a big stunt week which saw a limo crash into a frozen lake, Amy Barton fell through the ice and spotted Nate’s dead body underneath the water.
However, she failed to communicate that Nate had died to Matty before her hospital death (although she did try her hardest given the circumstances, bless her).
With Amy taking the secret to her grave, poor Nate’s body continued to bob about unfound.
And then, last month, it was revealed to viewers in flashback scenes that John Sugden had been the one to kill Nate. He’d injected him with something after the barn fire but had actually ended up killing him as Nate suffered a bad reaction.
With Nate not having any contact with his family (or his precious daughter who he once tried to get custody over), only slight suspicions over his whereabouts have been raised. Wow, so much for having loved ones who care.
Nate’s mum Cara Robinson
Nate Robinson’s mum – Cara Robinson – briefly appeared in 2020 so we’d forgive you for forgetting all about her.
Nate came to the village and started having an affair with Cain’s wife Moira to get revenge on him for abandoning him and his mum.
However, Cain has actually had no idea that his former partner Cara was even pregnant with his son. Cain’s mum Faith had intervened without him knowing, making sure that Cain had nothing to do with Nate or Cara.
Cara turned up to the village in January 2020, upset that Nate had gone to get revenge on Cain without even telling her. When Nate ended up getting shot in a huge showdown, Cara ended up staying with Nate in the village until October that year.
Now, fans are baffled that Nate’s mum hasn’t come looking for him. Seeing as she was in contact with her son, it seems bizarre that she hasn’t been suspicious over his recent silence.

One fan on Reddit commented: “Can they please just reveal already that Nate’s dead? I’m tired of it being brought up that he’s abandoned his daughter in every episode when he hasn’t. What the [bleep] happened to his mother?”
Another person added: “I was wondering that. Why hasn’t she appeared asking questions about where her son is? So bizarre…”
A third fan responded: “Sure, but it’s so unrealistic that his mother wouldn’t have raised the alarm by now. From the few episodes we saw her, she cared very much for her son.”
