Voting for my Strictly Come Dancing favourite

Good news; the public vote is open for the first time this weekend but the voting system has changed. The phone vote has now been scrapped and Strictly Come Dancing viewers can only cast their votes online.

Fans can vote for their three favourite couples at the end of Saturday night’s show. The results will then be added to the judges’ combined scores from Week 1 and Week 2, with the lowest scoring two couples competing in the dance-off.

This means this weekend will also see the return of Strictly Come Dancing: The Results. It airs on Sunday evening. But in another twist, the deciding dance-off vote will now be shared between all four judges. They will each take it in turn on a weekly basis, meaning head judge Shirley Ballas no longer holds all the power.

Strictly Come Dancing airs at 6.20pm on BBC One on Saturday October 4, 2025. The Results show starts at 7.15pm the following night (Sunday October 5). Can’t wait!
