After one too many beers, Max found the ring that Howie was going to propose to Kim with, and decided to use it to his advantage. As bride Vicki made a speech, thanking everyone for coming to the wedding, Max decided to pop the question to Cindy in front of everyone. They moved in together after only a matter of weeks, after all. But marriage is a big step, and this wouldn’t be the first rodeo for either of them. Ian was arrested for running over Jordan Ian was shocked when the police arrived to question him about Jordan's hit and run, oblivious to the carnage he had caused. A breathalyser test showed he was over the drink-driving limit, and he was taken to the station for questioning. Ian was adamant that it was all a big misunderstanding, until he discovered Jordan was the person he had knocked down. Ian then realised the seriousness of the situation and asked for a solicitor. Later he tried to reason with Jack, who was adamant that he needed to take responsibility for his actions. Lauren and Mark almost kissed While everyone else was inside the wedding marquee, Lauren and Mark had a moment outside where they almost kissed. Mark told Lauren that he had feelings for her, and that he thought she felt the same way. However, just as they were about to kiss, Lauren asked Mark to leave. Howie proposed Despite Jordan's accident derailing his proposal plans, Howie wasn't going to let the moment pass.
