
Classic Emmerdale preview: Chas attacks Rosemary and ends up arrested for murder! While Eli’s banged up, too
Chas is going to regret losing her temper!
Chas attacks Rosemary with devastating consequences in Classic Emmerdale episodes airing on ITV3 on Thursday May 8. And that’s only the start of what turns out to be a very bad day for the Dingles!
Meanwhile things aren’t going well for the King brothers either, when they get bad news about the family finances.
These episodes first aired on January 16 and 17, 2007.

Eli’s arrested!
After Rosemary tips off the police they raid the Dingles’ cottage. They find all Eli’s stolen goods and then they slap him in handcuffs and arrest him. But is he really Tom King’s murderer?
When Carl calls Chas to tell her what’s happened, she races home just in time to see the cops carting Eli off to the police station.

Later, Rosemary has lunch with Superintendent Vaughan in the pub and Chas sees a chance to get in the policeman’s good books. But her plan backfires spectacularly when Rosemary taunts her about Eli’s arrest – and Chas loses her temper!
She hurls herself at Rosemary and Vaughan is quick to arrest the furious Dingle for assault.
Debbie’s in charge
Elsewhere, Scott puts Debbie in charge at the garage and she gets cracking straightaway. But she finds it surprisingly difficult and struggles to service Ashley’s car.
Desperate, she calls Lisa for help and together they repair the car. Debbie pays Lisa a tenner and charges Ashley £120 for the service.
Chas AND Eli are charged with murder in Classic Emmerdale
At the police station, Barraclough and Dasari interrogate Chas about the assault. She dismisses it as a misunderstanding. But she’s shocked when the police reveal that the horse’s head that Eli stole was the murder weapon.
And the cousins’ day goes from bad to worse when they’re both arrested for Tom’s murder!
Classic Emmerdale: Financial woes
Meanwhile, Rosemary is worried when the King brothers head off to see their solicitor. Afterwards it’s bad news for the brothers because Mitchell tells them what’s in the will. He reveals that that in the event of Tom’s death his will stated the property development would be sold and any money used to pay debts at Home Farm.
It looks like the new Rosemary King is the one who’s going to benefit from Tom’s death.
Jack comforts Daz
Daz is distraught after he fails almost all of his mock exams. Jack tries to reassure him after Daz says he’s worried he’ll end up like his dad and promises he’ll help Daz find a job.
Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.
Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
