Matthew’s on a mission!
On a mission to expose Rosemary’s secrets, Matthew tells Chas to organise a family lunch because he’s got something to say that will put an end to the wedding plans.
Everyone turns up – a little confused about what’s going on. And Tom’s especially bewildered as Matthew reveals he knows the truth. He tells everyone that Rosemary was kicked out of Oakwell Hall by her nephew.
It turns out the nephew sold the whole estate to the Yorkshire Historical Trust a while ago – and Rosemary’s been lying about it. All the companies she owned went into liquidation and now she’s pretty much bankrupt!
And Rosemary’s accidentally forgotten to mention all of this. Oops!
Grayson wants more info in Classic Emmerdale
Afterwards Grayson quizzes Perdy about how Matthew knew Rosemary’s secret and she admits her mother-in-law wanted her to divorce Grayson.
But Grayson won’t listen. He tells Perdy she’s talking nonsense and accuses her of betraying Rosemary.

The vendetta continues
Meanwhile, Terry listens to Jean’s concerns about his vendetta against the Kings. He admits he’s no longer so determined but that he’s going along with it for Bob’s sake. But Jean is still worried about it all and insists that it’s only going to lead to trouble if he neglects little TJ.
Later, Tom realises that time’s running out if they want to save the housing development. He asks Jamie to talk to Bob and Jean again about the offer and he doubles the cash on offer to £200,000 – if they make a decision in 24 hours.
Classic Emmerdale: Jimmy and Kelly are on!
Elsewhere, Jimmy’s busy wooing Kelly. He orders red roses and plans a fancy lunch for her with caterers and a butler!
But Bob arrives just as Jimmy’s saying goodbye to the caterers and he’s not happy to find out the identity of Kelly’s current conquest!
Has Matthew made things worse?
Meanwhile Rosemary is concerned that Tom doesn’t trust her, and he assures her that’s not the case – and he’ll prove it. As the pair of them set off to the solicitor, Matthew worries Tom is about to change his will in Rosemary’s favour.
And Hari returns to the village.
