But is it? Joe jumped in front of the car to stop her driving off, begging her to hear him out. Tomorrow night he will make a shocking confession. So is Dawn off? Or is there more drama to come? It was a hard decision for Dawn to leave Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) Dawn tried to leave in Emmerdale tonight On Thursday (May 21) Dawn escaped the house early after spending the night with Joe. He felt something had changed between them and they had reconnected during their passionate encounter the night before. He was confident she was going to stay. However Graham wasn’t so sure and urged Joe to act. But he stayed firm that Dawn had to be with him because she wanted to be, not because he forced her. How very human of him! Meanwhile, Dawn was in the pub with Billy. She made a couple of cryptic comments that made him think she was dying. Moira then sat down with her and Dawn confessed she can’t trust herself around Joe. She said he was able to “suck her back in” if he “lets his guard down”. He waited and confronted Dawn. He begged her not to do this and to stay and talk to Joe about how she is feeling. But Dawn dismissed him and got in the car anyway. As she started the engine Joe raced in front of the car. He asked her to stop and told her: “There’s so much I need to say. You need to know everything.” Dawn looked totally torn. What will she do? Olivia Bromley reportedly leaving Emmerdale as Dawn Fletcher In March it was reported that Olivia Bromley has been 'axed' by the soap as Dawn Fletcher after eight years. And it's fair to say fans are not happy at all. Olivia Bromley 'films Emmerdale exit scenes' Olivia is said to be filming her exit scenes in the coming months. She reportedly "understood" the soap's decision. A source told The Sun: "Olivia is adored by everyone at Emmerdale so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all. "She's a popular member of the cast and if they can get rid of Olivia then the feeling is virtually no-one is safe. "Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months." The exact date of her departure is unknown, but is likely to be around the summer time. No details of her end storyline have been given either. Fury over departure of women The news has caused anger among many viewers of the soap. She becomes the 10th female to leave Emmerdale since the start of 2025. Only four men have gone. In last year's lake limo crash three women died. Amy, Suzy and Leyla were killed, but all the men survived, which caused uproar at the time. And now yet another woman has been axed, it's not made fans happy. "Surprise, Surprise Emmerdale getting rid of yet another female character in Dawn who is pretty dull I admit, but there are a few male characters who should be in front of her. The likes of Billy, Jai, Arthur, Marlon, Eric, Noah and Rodney," shared one on social media.
