Cain has forgiven him, despite the implications of the accident. But Dr Todd is set to make Jacob’s life a living hell in upcoming spoilers. Can he ever get rid of her? Cain was hit by Jacob’s car (Credit: ITV) Jacob ran Cain over in Emmerdale On Tuesday night (April 7) Cain was on the phone to Moira when a car came speeding out of nowhere and knocked him down. He was left bloody and unconscious in the road. Viewers had been shown angry Graham, upset Kerry and hysterical Jacob getting into their vehicles. None of them were in the right frame of mind to be driving, but all three sped off anyway. So which one hit Cain? article continues below Read all the latest spoilers It was revealed to be Jacob. He got out of his car just as Kyle found his dad and begged for help. Kerry then arrived and took charge of the situation, forcing Jacob to act. But Jacob was beside himself. He managed to get Cain stable until the ambulance arrived, but the family were not impressed. Kyle lashed out at him and told him to get lost. Jacob was devastated (Credit: ITV) Everyone turns on Jacob as Cain forgives At the hospital Sarah was fuming with her husband. She angrily accused Jacob of trying to do Cain in on purpose, which he strenuously denied. He tried to explain how stressed he was but Sarah was sick of hearing it.Don't miss a single story! She was even angrier when they were told Cain’s scheduled prostate operation had to be postponed until he was fully healed. Sarah raged that she would never forgive Jacob if the cancer spread and this cost Cain his life. Cain however was more understanding. He told Jacob he was going to tell the police he stepped out in front of the car and Jacob was not at fault. Jacob was grateful, but Cain told him he needed to sort out the operation as a thank you. However Jacob was unable to do that. Cain still forgave and told him to make things up with Sarah. Todd, who overheard Jacob and Sarah arguing, took Jacob for a quiet moment to chat. He tried to suggest she’d got him so upset after saying he would never be a doctor that it caused the crash. But Todd hit back and said she was not responsible for what happened after their altercation. Kerry overheard and made her presence known to try and defuse the situation. But tomorrow night she will hear Todd laying into Jacob again and tackle her over it. Dr Todd however turns the tables and lists all the mistakes Jacob has made. And it might just make everything worse. Dr Todd is plotting against Jacob (Credit: ITV) Dr Todd’s plan for Jacob in Emmerdale revealed Spoilers for next week have now revealed Dr Todd is not just targeting Jacob with nasty words and threats, she’s actually building a file against him. When he talks to her to check everything is okay, she assures him things between them are fine. He’s relieved, but he has no idea she’s recording an audio log so she can accuse Jacob of obsessive behaviour. Things get even worse for Jake when Dr Todd moves in with Vanessa. Now she’s everywhere – at work and at home. Unable to cope with her mind games any more, Jacob arranges to swap shifts with Rich to get away from Todd for one day. However it backfires when it means working with her the next day instead. But Todd’s manipulations are only just getting started. In the pub later she starts to plant the seed of Jacob’s obsession with her to Manpreet. Of course Manpreet falls for it hook line and sinker.
