Nate’s things were collected

Clearly panicking that someone is going to find out the truth, John knows he needs to tie up any loose ends. And so he decided to hire a man to collect Nate’s things – leaving Tracy Robinson appalled.

She tried to get information from him, but the guy refused to tell her where he is dropping the stuff off to.

When she was alone with the boxes, she grabbed a pair of cufflinks, so that Frankie can have something that belonged to her dad.

Cain made a decision

Moira tried to tell Cain Dingle that it wasn’t clever to just appear in Shetland considering there are numerous wind farms, but he remained determined.

When he went to tell Tracy that he was going, she told him about the man collecting Nate’s things. She explained that if he was heading to Shetland for her, then to not bother because this was proof that Nate didn’t want anything to do with them.

John burned Nate’s belongings

After he overheard that Cain is no longer going to Shetland, John was clearly relieved.

Cain headed to see Tracy again, and to spend some time with Frankie. As the pair were speaking about how Nate is really gone, we saw John burn all of Nate’s belongings, including his passport.

Steph went to therapy

Still worrying about how to help Steph Miligan, Caleb found a therapist online who could offer an emergency appointment.

Initially, Steph wasn’t interested as she feared telling them about Anthony’s death – but Ruby was insistent that she would go to prison if she had to.

Eventually she agreed, and headed off by herself. At the house, Caleb and Ruby were left wondering how to tell the others in Anthony’s murder club and decided to hold an emergency meeting.

Anthony’s murder club gathered

Everyone involved gathered at Ruby and Caleb’s house, and were shocked to hear Steph was in therapy.

Aaron in particular got annoyed, warning them that therapists are meant to get you to open up about things. But Caleb got angry and warned him to back off.

Ruby instead told them what had happened, and everyone felt awful for Steph. During the discussions, Steph walked in – and everyone left her to it with her parents.

She explained that she has a 12 week programme, and admitted she found it difficult at the beginning. But already, she can feel a relief of telling someone. And luckily for Ruby, she managed to leave out the murder part.

Billy got his hopes up

Joe had set up an adorable teddy bear with a few gifts for Evan in Home Farm, waiting for Dawn to come home. But she wasn’t alone.

After what happened, she explained that Billy will be staying in Home Farm for a few nights. After initially believing Kim got the teddy, Dawn was touched to realise it was from Joe.

But when Lucas suggested they all do a movie night, Dawn made an excuse for Joe not to come, leaving him clearly hurt and jealous.

Billy on the other hand seemed optimistic and even told Evan that things could be getting back to normal…

Gail continued to be annoyed

Determined to prove that she is full of good ideas, Gail wasn’t paying much attention to her actual job.

When Chas had to leave, she put Gail in charge. And once again, Gail complained about the way she is being treated to Ryan. But during the conversation, she has a realisation of a perfect themed night.

But what is it? And will Charity be impressed?
