And there’s nothing Kev can do about it. As Robron worried about the threat Kev posed, they still have absolutely no idea he’s not the one to be worried about. When will it all come crashing down around them? John has Kev tied up (Credit: ITV) John’s plan revealed in Emmerdale this Boxing Day After John’s dramatic Christmas Day return saw him lurking all over the village again, he managed to overpower Kev and has him tied up at the abandoned house. Tonight, John was still holding Kev captive. Meanwhile, the ever-brilliant Emmerdale police were being unhelpful with finding Kev, believing the shots were fired by poachers. Even the ring and the bullet posted through the door prove nothing. Aaron was going mad, while Robert tried to keep him calm. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers As they were on a Boxing Day walk, John was hiding (again) in the bushes with the gun and took aim at Robert. But then Harry arrived and gave Uncle Robert a hug, stopping John in his tracks. John sloped off back to the hideaway, fed-up he’d been thwarted. Kev had managed to get free of his ropes, but the stress of doing so aggravated his heart and he was struggling. John returned to find Kev collapsed on the floor. Of course John couldn’t resist playing the hero and found Kev’s pills. He insisted he would save Kev’s life. John managed to bring him back to life, but tied him up again. John told him he had kept him alive for now – and then revealed his plan. He intends to kill Robert and frame Kev for it. John will then kill Kev and get to have his happy ever after when he saved Aaron from deep depression. Back at the flat, Robert and Aaron were still concerned about Kev, but decided not to let him get to them. Little did they know Kev is not the one they need to be worried about! John is going to be involved in Corriedale (Credit: ITV) What happens next in Emmerdale? As John Sugden’s plan starts to unfold in Emmerdale next week, he is determined to take Robert out. But he soon confides in Kev he has a new – even more terrifying plot. What he says even sends chills through Kev. But with his heart condition causing an escape problem, can he find a way to break free and save Robert? And as John is listed in the cast for Corriedale, we’re not sure there’ll be a resolution before then. Also in Emmerdale this Boxing Day John Sugden wasn't the only person at the centre of the action in Emmerdale this Boxing Day... Charity escaped her secret being blown Kerry went to see Mack to show him pictures of Reuben opening his Christmas presents. She found a note pushed through the letterbox on the way out and left it on the table. It was of course the incriminating note John wrote. Moira later called Mack to go and find the bull that had gone walkabout. Charity was unhappy, but Mack had to go. Fortunately for Charity she was free to tidy up and she came across the note. Able to hide it just as Mack got home, Charity breathed a sigh of relief - but also called Vanessa accusing her of sending it. Ray gave up on Marlon in Emmerdale this Boxing Day Marlon had managed to scrape together £1900 for Ray's next payment. He was worried sick when Ray told him he was now off the hook for the payments every week. What was Ray up to? Meanwhile, Jimmy was pretty smitten with Ray - maybe more so than Laurel - but he let slip to Celia where Ray had really spent Christmas Day. Celia was furious and tore a strip off both Ray and Laurel in The Hide. Back at home, Marlon and Rhona were suspicious over Ray's actions. They dared to dream Ray and Celia were leaving and they would be free from them. But April was meeting with Ray promising she would do what he wanted to save his family. Ray told her they were leaving New Year's Day, shocking her that it was so soon. He gave her a new burner phone and told her to be ready. Kerry gave Jacob a talking to Kerry found sulky Jacob in the cafe and explained why she really married Pollard. She told him they had done it to secure his future, not for herself to get money.
