We’ve spent the last few days hoping and praying he pulls through so he can tell the truth about Ray and Celia. But there hasn’t been much update on Dylan all week – only that he continued to be in hospital in a coma. Now, however, the ITVX early release episode for today (Thursday December 11) has finally given us a clue on whether or not he will survive. *WARNING: Emmerdale spoilers for Thursday December 11 follow. Although the episode has not aired on ITV yet, it is already available to view on ITVX and YouTube* Dylan was run down by Ray’s car (Credit: ITV) Dylan fights for his life after being run over in Emmerdale Last week Dylan witnessed exactly what Celia was capable of and knew he was in a situation far more serious than he could ever realise. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Sensing Ray may be a weak link, especially now he’s fallen for Laurel, Dylan tried to persuade him to go to the police. Ray seemed to agree to turn on Celia and even offered to drive them both there. But it was a double-cross, because he then called his mum, who was with Marlon and Rhona. Celia propped up their video chat so they could watch as Ray drove at speed, knocking Dylan over in the hope of killing him. In order to give him a helping hand dying, Ray injected him with heroin. Ray felt slightly guilty clearly because he called an ambulance for Dylan. But the news at the hospital wasn’t good and Paddy and April were told to prepare for the worst. Paddy also believes he relapsed into drugs and that caused the accident. Celia and Ray were not happy when they discovered Dylan was still alive. But they are now hoping he’ll die anyway or wake up a vegetable. Dylan is in hospital fighting for his life (Credit: ITV) Update given on Dylan’s fate in ITVX episode With everyone preparing for Dylan’s death, Paddy is stunned and thrilled today when he learns Dylan is actually improving. He is showing good signs of recovery and the doctor are considering bringing him out of his coma soon. Could this spell the end of Celia and Ray’s reign? Certainly Marlon seems to think so – if Dylan could wake up and tell the police everything, surely it would be the end of Ray and Celia for good? So of course this wouldn’t be good news for them.
