Mackenzie has been a huge character in Emmerdale for the last five years. Love him or hate him, Lawrence Robb has done a fantastic job at playing Mack. But it seems Emmerdale fans were right to be fearful over his future on the show as reports suggest that Mackenzie will die in huge scenes set to play out quite soon. And it looks like John Sugden is yet again to blame. He was one of the first and only people to believe he is a psycho. But nobody believed him. Now, it looks like he is about to be proved right – in the worst way possible. Emmerdale have not yet commented on the reports. But according to The Sun, John will strike again in order to hide his crimes, as Mackenzie discovers the truth about him. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers A source told the outlet: “The scenes are going to be really harrowing for fans to watch. Mackenzie has been in so many scrapes and dangerous positions, but this time it looks like he’s bitten off more than he can chew.” It’s reported that the scenes are set to play out later this year – but Lawrence has already filmed the devastating death. The source added: “There are huge twists and turns coming throughout this storyline, and it’s going to run for months and months. Nothing can be ruled out.” John’s secrets have already been running for almost a year, and so the news that it may be continuing for quite some time hasn’t gone down well with fans. On top of that, losing Mackenzie is a huge loss for the show. And while a lot of fans didn’t like certain storylines he had been given over the years, many aren’t happy with the decision to kill him off. One fan wrote: “Emmerdale are making a HUGE mistake by killing Mack..” Another added: “I am absolutely raging. Every once in a while a character’s death really upsets and angers me. This is another one of those. I know some fans hate him, but I have always loved him. He is funny, witty and has great interactions with other characters. And Lawrence is a great actor.” “I am so mad at this. I absolutely love Mack, he should stay” a third penned. Another wrote: “This is actually quite disturbing and upsetting. I would have loved to see him, Robert and Aaron actually get to be a trio. Their dynamics are great.” However some fans aren’t too bothered that the show is losing Mack. And even hope it means Vanessa and Charity will reunite. One penned: “Mack’s death being revealed right after Vanessa and Charity kiss? Vanity are so back.” Another added: “This must be connected with Mack running through the woods.
