Mack to die and make way for Charity and Vanessa reunion, Emmerdale fan predicts
Fans want a Vanity reunion
A new Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that Mackenzie Boyd will die, paving the way for a Charity and Vanessa reunion.
During their time together, Charity and Vanessa – or Vanity – were a popular pairing.
Vanessa’s partner Suzy perished in the limo crash and now a fan has predicted that Mack will head the same way.

Vanity in Emmerdale
Vanity were, and still are, a fan-favourite couple, despite breaking up many years ago.
The pair first shared a kiss in 2017, before making things official the following year.
Vanessa was by her side when it was revealed that Charity Dingle had been abused by policeman Mark Bails when she had been a teenager. Although Charity initially struggled to work through her feelings, with Vanessa’s support she took the abuse public. Charity faced Bails in court, where he was sentenced to 30 years behind bars.
Charity and Vanessa became engaged in 2019 and then it was Charity’s turn to support Vanessa after she was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Shortly after, Vanessa left the village to take care of her mum. While she was away, Charity felt lonely due to believing Vanessa was acting distant. In reality, Vanessa had been planning a big surprise for Charity in order to share the news that her cancer had gone.
However, the damage was done as Tracy sent Vanessa a photo of Charity kissing Mack – who she’d literally just met. Fans were heartbroken as this marked the end of Vanity.

Fan predicts Charity and Vanessa reunion in Emmerdale
While Charity has been in a relationship with Mack – eventually marrying him in 2023, Vanessa went on to date Suzy.
Suzy was one of three victims of the recent limo crash, leaving Vanessa heartbroken. However, fans took hope from this that there was now an opportunity for Vanity to reunite.
One obstacle in that plan is Mack. But never fear, as a fan has a theory that Mack will die.
They wrote on Reddit: “I do think Mack is going to die at John’s hand (or whoever Nate’s killer is). I’m convinced the writers will use it to end Manity and push Charity and dreary Vanessa back together. Ugh. It also develops a serial killer storyline, as well as giving Moira more material. And it probably leads to Chloe’s return (UGH) which gives Kerry more material in the wake of Amy’s exit.”
Could they be right?
