And tonight’s episode reveals he finally does – but things don’t go well. Sigh. Early previews of the episode have shown Cain tries to help, but Marlon shuts him down. Marlon and Rhona have no way out (Credit: ITV) Marlon can’t escape After Marlon’s failed escape attempt last night (Monday December 8), they family realised Ray has eyes everywhere and there is no getting away. April insisted she had to start dealing again to keep Ray quiet and everyone else safe. But Marlon thought they could get the money to pay Ray off and get him and Celia out of their lives for good. So tonight he starts trying to find a way to get that sorted. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers He looks at loans to gather the money but savvy Rhona tells him there was no debt – it doesn’t matter how much they pay Ray, he will just keep increasing it. She then suggests they tell Cain. Hallelujah. Marlon thinks it is too risky and Cain is too volatile. Rhona keeps pushing – the family from Ireland, Ross, they could all help. Marlon does decide to go and visit Cain and tries to sell him his car. But Cain smells a rat and wants to know what’s really going on. Cain can put this right, right? (Credit: ITV) Cain gets involved in with Ray and Marlon in Emmerdale spoilers Marlon races off in a strop, but he finds Ray in his house waiting for him. Ray wants £20k to get out of their lives for good and Marlon promises to get it. Ray doesn’t want to wait though and as he’s issuing more threats to Marlon, Cain walks in and overhears. He demands to know what’s going on. Marlon lies he smashed into Ray’s car and owes him money for it. Cain tells Ray to do one and stop hassling Marlon before asking for more answers from his cousin. Marlon does a bodge job trying to lie that he’d failed to renew the insurance and that Ray has already had his car fixed so Cain can’t step in and do the job cheap. Marlon tells Cain to back off. Moira knows the truth next week (Credit: ITV) Will Cain sort Ray and Celia in Emmerdale? Rhona is dead right that Cain is the person to help them here. And now he’s got the bit between his teeth, will he keep chipping away until he finds out everything? Of course, Ray and Celia’s plotting affects Moira too and when she finds out the truth next week, Cain could start piecing things together and take action to help his whole family.
