1. Joe Tate found

It didn’t end well for Joe Tate on Thursday night (May 7). First of all the police burst in to question him about spiking Noah in the middle of Lydia’s birthday party. It caused a series of events that then led to Joe being pushed.

Noah had called the police on his half-brother, despite Charity insisting she would sort it. She intended to spike Joe’s drink herself, but panicked when the police arrived and knocked the glass out of Joe’s hand.

Meanwhile, Caleb had also engineered a furious Billy to get Joe. Billy had found out about Joe and Dawn’s affair and witnessed the pair dancing intimately.

Kerry and Matty then found out that Joe had been responsbile for Amy’s death and Kerry wanted revenge. Plus Dawn discovered all that had happened and that Joe had threatened Clemmie.

So he’d got himself in a right old mess and it’s no wonder someone pushed him out of a window! But will he survive this attack? As his body is found has Joe Tate been killed?

Tom King certainly didn’t survive a similar attempt on his life in 2006, but will Joe be luckier?

2. Noah delivers horrifying news in Emmerdale spoilers

Poor Noah now knows half-brother Joe Tate was the one who spiked him. It caused Noah to be stumbling around disorientated in the woods the night of the lake limo crash. Charity swerved to avoid her son and the resulting accident caused the deaths of Leyla, Amy and Suzy.

Noah wants answers as he has spent months blaming himself. But as he tries to get them what will he discover? There’s something shocking awaiting Noah at Home Farm. He is soon the one to deliver alarming news, but what has he found out?

3. The police gather the suspects

So we already know Noah Dingle, Charity Dingle, Caleb Miligan, Ruby Miligan, Cain Dingle, Kerry Wyatt, Dawn Fletcher, Billy Fletcher and Clemmie Reed are all in the frame for Joe’s attack. And when the police arrive, they know exactly who they want to talk to. They round up the suspects and want answers from them all. Who is their eye firmly on?

And are they investigating a murder or is it a brutal attack? With the finger of suspicion being pointed left right and centre, will anyone own up? Who did push Joe? And who has managed to get what they wanted without getting their hands dirty?
