But recent weeks have seen his focus shift towards John. Robert suspects his brother has a sinister side and has been on a mission to prove it. What Robert doesn’t yet realise is that John is a secret killer and the reason why Nate is six feet under. John has been living in fear of getting caught out and the medic’s latest shock move saw him frame Owen for Nate’s murder. Meanwhile, Robert is continuing to edge closer to the truth thanks to his recent sleuthing. Aaron is convinced his former husband is acting out of jealousy and wants him out of their lives. But panicked John knows they need to keep Robert on side. It results in John leaving, so Robert takes the chance to ask Aaron if they can grab a coffee and clear the air. During their chat, Robert hints to Aaron that he’s considering leaving the village for good. Aaron is taken by surprise and reassures Robert that he’s valued and should stick around. This gives Robert hope there could still be a future for them. We all know that Robron are endgame, is Aaron starting to realise it too?
