Tom’s enemies gather at Home Farm, but who’s to blame when the newly wed Mr King takes a dramatic – and fatal – plunge from an upstairs window?

Wedding bells!
It’s the day of Tom and Rosemary’s Christmas wedding and everything’s ready for the big celebration.
The bride and groom both make their own way to the church. But Terry’s been looking at photos of Dawn and TJ from last Christmas and he’s an emotional wreck. So when he sees Tom’s wedding car pull up, he heads out, itching for vengeance.
He launches himself at Tom, and attacks him – accidentally whacking Ashley in the face in the process!
Classic Emmerdale: Without a hitch?
But after the dust settles the wedding goes ahead without a hitch and the newly wed Mr and Mrs King and their families head to Home Farm for the party.
Matthew and Jimmy are stewing over Tom’s offer to give Carl the business and their argument descends into a fight between Carl and Matthew. Tom steps in to calm things down, but he adds fuel to the fire when he announces he’s giving the estate to Rosemary!
Chas hits the bottle
When a drunken Chas gatecrashes the celebration, she’s annoyed to see Carl being chatted up by another woman and she responds by throwing a glass of champagne at her. Chas is dragged away by Tom, but she isn’t happy and she throws the whole bottle at him!
Tom insults her for going against their arrangement, but Carl overhears the whole thing and he’s horrified by his dad’s meddling in his engagement. Chas tells Tom she’ll make him pay for breaking her heart.
Tom makes his escape in Classic Emmerdale
Wanting to get away from the drama, Tom suggests to his new wife that they sneak off to consummate their marriage.
But Tom comes across Bob in their room – bit of a passion killer! He manages to get rid of Mr Hope, unaware that Jamie’s there, too, hidden away and still determined for revenge.

As everyone gathers outside to watch the fireworks, there’s a huge shock in store when Tom falls through an upstairs window and plunges to the ground. He lies motionless as snow begins to fall…
