She has given birth, told Ross to back off and handed baby Leyla over pretending to everyone it is Sarah’s baby. Only evil Dr Todd knows the truth. Charity could maybe be excused as vulnerable and recovering so did as Todd asked. However, now Todd is at it again and Charity doesn’t seem to have the energy to fight back. Emma Atkins has warned there’s more to come for Charity and Dr Todd (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Emma Atkins on what’s going on here With fans really confused as to why Charity is just rolling over, Emma Atkins, who plays her, has revealed the truth behind her reaction. “I don’t think she’s come across someone who’s so fiercely one step ahead of her,” she told the latest edition of Inside Soap magazine. “Charity is aware of how vulnerable she is right now.” She continued: “Charity won’t underestimate how brilliantly Todd’s mind works… It isn’t about anything other than survival right now.” With Charity prepared to part with her beloved boozer to Kim Tate of all people, she’s definitely keen to do anything to survive! (Credit: ITV) Things will get worse between Charity and Dr Todd in Emmerdale Speaking on This Morning today (Wednesday May 13) Emma appeared to confirm the storyline had more to come and Charity trying to sell the Woolpack won’t be the end of it. “There’s a trajectory that it’s going to keep going for some time,” she revealed. The actress then teased the truth about the baby will come out, but she’s only being drip-fed parts of the storyline. “[The secret] has to [come out] at some point, but it’s going to heat up. She’s [Todd] coming into her patch in Emmerdale, she’s getting involved with Vanessa and she’s like ‘why are you here? What do you want?’.
