'What is going on with Manpreet?' - Emmerdale fans demand answers over her recent behaviour

Manpreet recently spent the night with an unlikely match – Ross Barton, and fans can’t believe her recent behaviour in Emmerdale.

Fans now think that Manpreet has had a huge personality transplant that goes against everything the show has spent ‘a decade building.’

For someone who used to be a very professional, and quite conservative as a character, fans can’t believe the sudden change they’ve seen in her.

Manpreet’s sudden change in character

When Manpreet entered the Dales, it was revealed that she had a spending addiction, working on getting her life back on track.

She then built up a reputation as being a trust-worthy and professional doctor at the local surgery. She seemed very focused on her career and stuck to the rules.

But, now, it looks like she might be having some sort of mid-life crisis because she’s suddenly changed her personality.

She’s now keen to break the professional code, only regretting her actions after she’s done them. Shocking everyone with a saucy online side-hustle, Manpreet also broke the professional code once more by sharing Caleb’s confidential medical information with Joe Tate.

And now, she’s also got one thing on her mind, and that’s no longer work at the surgery. She fancies herself the younger man, first having an eye for Billy before spending the night with Ross. And, oh she wasn’t very happy when he binned her off after one hook-up and caused quite a scene about it.

Emmerdale fans confused over Manpreet’s recent behaviour

Emmerdale fans have been left really baffled by Manpreet’s out-of-character behaviour as of late.

Taking to Reddit, one fan asked: “Manpreet – what is going on with her?”

Another fan added: “They don’t know what to do with her. That’s the issue. So they’ve made her sex mad, complicit in a kidney plot she’s unaware of, etc. Easy character to write out at this point.”

A third person said: “Seriously, their tarnishing the good character the spent about a decade building. It’s time to write her out before they do any more damage. A sex maniac GP is not a good look.”

A fourth person added: “I know like she’s sex mad!,” to which another person shared: “Seriously, to the point where she’s acting completely out of character.”

Others are embracing the new Manpreet

But, other fans don’t see an issue with Manpreet’s sudden change in behaviour. They’ve noted that Liam acts very similar and still keeps his job, so why can’t Manpreet?

One fan said: “I mean Liam’s not exactly been great at keeping it in his pants over the years, do we go on about his reputation?”

Another person responded: “You’re not wrong, I just wondered why she was acting a little out of character but you’re right about Liam. I stand corrected on her sexcapades, don’t condemn the woman if not the man.”

Another commented: “There must be something in the water at the doctors surgery, first Liam went sex mad and now it’s happening to Manpreet!”

A final person said: “Yes, to show that women can be free with their sexuality too. I did feel like maybe the writers had run out story for her but you’ve given me a different perspective of the whole thing so ta.”
