Emmerdale spoilers this week: Steph lashes out at Ross before fleeing
Steph attacks Ross then does a runner from the village
Steph goes into full meltdown in this week’s Emmerdale spoilers as she attacks on/off lover Ross then runs away, armed with a bottle of vodka. Will Steph be found before any harm comes to her?
Steph is in a dark place in Emmerdale spoilers
Traumatised Steph’s head is all over the place right now, and it’s no wonder why. She’s dealing with the discovery that her grandad Anthony was her real father, and also that he was murdered by Ruby.
The sickening truth has also made Steph struggle with her appearance. Whenever she looks at her reflection all she sees is Anthony. Steph decided the only way to erase him is by undergoing plastic surgery to alter the shape of her nose.
She was all set to go under the knife, until Caleb and Ruby discovered what she was planning. They managed to reach Steph just before he was about to go in for surgery and pleaded with her not to go ahead.
Ruby and Caleb’s interference has left Steph raging – and there’s one person she’s ready to take her anger out on.
Steph lashes out at Ross
After returning to Mill Cottage, Steph goes into full meltdown and starts smashing pots in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Ross is alerted to what happened at the plastic surgery clinic and is heartbroken to realise what Steph was intending to do. Ross knows the truth about Anthony being Steph’s birth dad, so he can understand why she wanted to take such drastic measures to be rid of him.
Ross rushes over to see Steph and tries his best to console her as she explains the anguish and pain she’s experiencing.
However, the mood suddenly switches when Steph turns on Ross, hurling nasty insults at him.

As Steph continues her tirade of abuse, Ross just stands there and takes it. Wow – he must really like her!
Moments later, Steph suddenly snaps out the mood she’s in and recoils in horror at what she’s said. Realising she’s taken things too far and Ross was only trying to help, Steph feels incredibly guilty.
But instead of staying to calmly talk things through, Steph’s self-loathing makes her reach for a bottle of vodka. She takes the booze and flees, leaving Ross to fear what she might do next. Is Steph heading for danger?
