Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans spot Joe Tate’s mysteriously disappearing scar ‘blunder’
A miraculous recovery
Emmerdale aired Joe Tate whodunnit scenes last night (Thursday, May 8) as the village villain was shoved through a window by someone.
But, viewers have noticed that Joe seemed to have made a miraculous recovery from his recent kidney transplant during these scenes.
His rather large scar that he sported just the other week was now no longer visible. Speedy recovery!

Joe Tate’s kidney transplant and scar in Emmerdale
Recently in Emmerdale, viewers all had their jaws on the floor when they realised the severity of Joe’s secret schemes.
After spiking Noah in a bid to see whether he was a match for a kidney transplant, Joe then turned to Caleb and arranged to have him stabbed.
Joe then pretended to stumble upon Caleb and took him to a private (very private) hospital, if you could even call it that.
Dr Crowley then performed a kidney transplant and removed one of Caleb’s kidneys and popped it into Joe. It wasn’t as simple a procedure as that but you get the gist.
Caleb then awoke and was told that his kidney had been removed due to being badly injured from the stabbing.
Joe, who had a huge scar on his abdomen, then made out that he’d slipped while in America and had been stitched back up but didn’t want to cause a fuss. But, Caleb soon worked out what really went on. Nothing ever stays a secret for long in the Dales, after all!

Fans spot huge ‘continuity error’ as Joe’s scar vanishes
Joe Tate was part of a huge whodunnit yesterday evening as he was pushed out of the Home Farm window by a certain someone. Who that certain someone is, we have no idea. But, there are A LOT of suspects.
But, this wasn’t the only thing that got people talking. During the scenes, Joe was in his room with his top off, and his scar… was gone.
They couldn’t believe how quickly Joe had recovered from such a huge surgery, with there being little sign that it ever happened. Wow.
One fan on X wrote: “Miracle of miracles! Joe’s scar has totally disappeared, [bleep].”
Another person added: “Joe’s scar healed up quickly.”
Over on Reddit, another fan agreed: “Thing is, dude legit had a kidney transplant like last month, WHERE’S HIS SCAR?!? Man’s got zero evidence he just stole someone’s kidney to put in himself cos he was dying…
“I need to visit Emmerdale hospital cos that place works legit MIRACLES.”
