Homes Under the Hammer
here in NZ we watch it, I like the presenters, people really nitpick about them like this? Sheesh. WHat we find though is it's (mostly) horrific. Such tiny rooms, while the voiceover says such a big room...lol. Washers in kitchens, shudder...where do you put your actual washing baskets? Your cleaning products? Loos in bathrooms, and so close to sinks etc!! OMG! Gross. Loos upstairs....so all day long you must climb the stairs to er...P? No wonder the hospital program is full of people who have fallen. And doors opening on to the street, no garages.....No gardens...or a garden quoted in feet measurements....why, does it sound better than say 1/40th acre or 200sqm?

Marine Maxwell - the weak
Following Lucy Alexander leaving couldn't the programme makers found a better replacement than Martin Maxwell? He voice is flat, lacks pace and intonatation and there is little os no enthusiasm. This morning's intro was as usual uninspiring

How go they do it
i recently asked four jobsworth for a quote, on moving a studded wall in the ensuite, back one metre, and installing a larger shower, and tiling of the new wall, the quotes ranged from £7.500 to £8.900, Yet on homes under the hammer, buyers can buy a derelict house, fit it with new kitchen, double Glazing, a new ensuite, replaster, re carpet, rewire, fit central heating, and dedcorate throughout, and all under £15.000 , Please supply the names of these contractors, lm fed up of dealing with cowboys
