ongoing costs
can you show what ongoing costs are, then people would know what the actual yearly outgoings would be.

Couples
Do you have to have been divorced and hooked up with a second partner to be on the show, I can honestly say out of all the episodes I've seen I cant recall a long-term married couple.

I like PITS
I have recently bought my own House in the Sun, and I have to admit being influenced by this show, and I still enjoy watching it, so well done you guys. One thing that would improve the show is to be clear about property purchase costs. Taxes and legai fees in Spain can add another 15% to the closing price, yet this is consistantly ignored, why?

What's wrong with this show?
I like it. It's relaxed and it is what it is. Jasmin also I like!

So you have some properties, Congratulations your equity is all tied up in bricks and mortar. Now we have just seen Greece bailed out in the Euro, This was just stalling. The Euro WILL collapse and eventually within the next 2 years the American petro Dollar will totally tank paving the way for a single world currency controlled by the central federal bankers in the US. When this happens (because all the planets debt is based on fractional reserve banking). The bankers always get paid (Greece bailout) and so in a few years your properties will be valued at about %25 of what they are worth now! Good luck with that sunseeker,It matter not where on the Planet you are, this is coming and has been planned for hundreds of Years!

I love it ...
I completely disagree with the other comments. I assume (and possibly incorrectly) that these people live in the UK. We live in one of the countries involved in these programmes and have done so for 10 years and our goodselves and other expats who live here enjoy these programmes. We get to follow what is happening in the market. We are not 'holiday makers' like those who comment and have no idea whatsoever what is going on. We just bought our fourth property here last here. We are not millionairs but simple folk who have done our homework and we eat out 2/3 times a week if we choose to do so which we could not in the UK. Get a life ... leave the UK and go somewhere where you can have a life and live it well.
