Does anybody know when Series 7 is going to hit UK screens?! Great show, can't wait to see Norwegian Breakway on it.

Grasp - old technology
Compared to some of the North Sea diving ships shown on Mighty Ships the USNS Grasp is prehistoric. No dynamic positioning - not RoV etc. The trace mentioned in one of the earlier posts looks like a sonar plot rather than a magnetometer

USS Grasp, best ship in US navy!!!
If a ship with dodgy hydraulics which force the divers to scramble out unaided is really the best the septics have, I am appalled. The surface decompression procedure they were using is the really dangerous thing, apart from ship's failure. It was only intended for combat when in water decompression was impossible. Bounce dives to 70m are bad enough. A magnetometer will not detect lead or the bell!!!!! If 70m is the limit for septics, then what were we doing in 1973 diving to 100m!! Leaks in hot water suits, round objects. Cheap inaccurate pointless programme, typical of Quest.

I really enjoy this, it is factual, interesting and worthy of an hours of my time. Quest seem to have some good programmes and the TV license doesnt pay for it. The BBC has really gone done hill recently with cheap shows, lots of repeats. I would rather tey had ads and no TV license. Quest is good. Mighty Ships is even better

Breaking the Ice
Three cheers for the Henry Larson. Is this documentary old or a bran new hacklash? Who needs sensationalist CGI SFX and panicking star actors when the calm, heroic crews and tough ships that fight the ice are drama enough? No posing, no pouting, but because of the skill and courage of these mariners, ships in peril and isolated communities can survive. This was a reminder that a lot of good people just get on with the job of being a good naighbour, Thanks, Quest. More, please.
