Not convinced
The amount who say they have never seen the property before they bid is unreal. In reality I think there would be very few. Maybe the makers trawl the auctions to find those people? Anyway it is getting boring now especially with Martin's fake surprised reaction.

Zero knowledge of property development. A nonsense programme.

Same here. Used to live next door to someone whose home was virtually a constant building site. Unfortunately I had to move for my sanity....pure bliss now. Feel for you.

Consider the neighbours
We have had building work going on next door, on and off since Feb.2017. It has been a disgrace and our local council building control is worse than useless. It signed it off under building regs even though it wasn't in compliance re. gas and electric safe. Homes under the Hammer have people proudly claiming they work all weekend and late at night. NO-one pays any consideration to the noise, mess etc. that the neighbours have to contend with. Get real at Homes under the Hammer.

Wtf
The auctioneer hesitated with the hammer on the final third bid...asking for half, £200 and then even £50 more. Is he for real? Glad there was no takers at that point. Is it greed trying to squeeze out every penny?

Lucy
Nice to see her today. She is a big miss but she is great on her new show about inventions. She talks about her daughter in a wheelchair. No one knows what some of us cope with, and willingly, in life.

Developers Lucy Alexander and Martin Roberts explore three properties about to be auctioned, including a flat in Chelsea, central London, and terraced houses in Dover, Kent, and Sandbach in Cheshire. After the sales the presenters talk to the new owners about their plans for their purchases, and then review their progress a few months later
