How does the Saturday Midsomer Murder on ITV3 7pm-9pm fit into 1 hour on ITV+1. I suppose it's the usual lack of consideration for the viewers.

Time to stop watching
Will someone tell Neil Dudgeon to try acting please? When faced with a problem he screws up his mouth and that’s it. You’d never be convinced by him that there had been a violent murder. I can’t bear to watch anymore.

Hopeful
Disappointed as thought give it another go. Nettles was the only Barnaby for me. His cousin lacks charisma and tbh rather wooden in his acting. Ever changing sidekicks with little rapport so unlike Troy, Scott and Jones with the boss. Guess this will be deleted but heh ho!

Sedate easy viewing
Didn't bother watching it for years, although Mum enjoyed it & I enjoyed Terry Wogan's jokes about it on R2. Finally starting watching it after they filmed where I worked. Yes, it's sedate, middle of the road drama, but it's decent enough. All the cast are pretty good, although I prefer Nettles & Jones/Troy.

The new Inspector Barnaby
Neil Dudgeon is so much better in the role than John Nettles was. Nettles was like a robot.

Plodding
Neil Dudgeon was a very poor choice to replace john nettles. He is simply not good enough, humourless, plodding, robotic, and that pause each time before he speaks....is he waiting for someone to whisper the limes I his ear?? Can he not be replaced in the near future by another Barnarby relative (please)
