Lucy Worsley explores the character and legacy of the famous monarch through music, considering how Victoria used music to bring the country together during a time of great upheaval and change. Lucy also examines the role music played in the monarch's own life - as a queen, a private person and in her marriage - and how Victoria and Albert established institutions like the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall. The documentary features performances by Willard White, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Black Dyke Brass Band
