This is the remake!
Absolutely dire. Everyone involved should be deeply ashamed of themselves. Watch the original; that was good.

Utter trashpile
This remake is a complete waste of time, Nothing about it is has any redeemable features at all, except when the end credits finishes.

Yes, a classic
It relies on your imagination (as all good 'horror/suspense' movies should). Its big let down is when it shows the 'monsters'

The original
One of my favourite horror flicks, very enjoyable. The remake, absolute trash. Unfortunately they are both rated together on this site.

Totally Ace! Scary as!
This is a belter from back in the day. Used to scare me witless and watched it over and over until the VHS wore out.

A coastal town is haunted by the vengeful spirits of sailors who were murdered 100 years before, leaving the locals desperate to flee before they are slaughtered. However, the escape routes away from the terror are soon obscured by a mysterious and menacing mist. Horror remake, starring Tom Welling, Maggie Grace and Selma Blair
