Ordeal by Innocence.
Radio version has no Miss Marple, and the 'condemned' man died of some ailment and was not hanged. TV version has Miss Marple and a hanged man. Which one is correct ?

Joan Hickson is the best ever.
Robin? Joan Hickson will always be best actor to have played Miss Marple, ever. She exuded the look, poise sharp shrewd hidden cunning of Miss Marple as defined in the books by AG. The BBC achieved perfection with Joan Hickson's ,Miss Marple as ITV achieved perfection with David Suchet as Hercule Poirot. The recent ITV versions are a travesty of the Miss Marple books. Julia McKenzie & Geraldine McEwan are by comparison, lacking actors in Joan Hickson's immense shadow as Miss Marple. Any one who has seen the BBC series, can deduce nothing else.

Good but for Miss Marple
Enjoyable - but do not think Julia McKenzie is right for Miss Marple.

Agatha Christie's Marple
As an Agatha Christie fan I find it irritating, to say the least, at the re-write of her stories in the "Agatha Christie's Marple" series which adds absolutely nothing - rather it detracts. And the Joan Hickson series leaves all this standing
